The Larocque Plastic Surgery Centre has been created in 1997 to provide an environment of excellence dedicated to cosmetic surgery. To this date, more than 6000 aesthetic plastic surgery procedures have been performed in our Center.
Our surgical facility is accreditated by the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (CAASF), a national organism created to ensure that out-of-hospital surgical interventions are done adequately and safely.
The aim of the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambularory Surgery Facilities is threefold:
- To establish facility and equipment guidelines that facilities must meet before being accepted for membership.
- To designate appropriate qualifications for individuals working in an ambulatory surgical facilities.
- To ensure that these standards are maintained in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
Our Clinic is also accreditated by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services Sociaux of the Province of Quebec in accordance with Bill 34 adopted to regulate out-of-hospital surgical facilities.
Dr Larocque works with an experienced team of health professionnals. A group of anesthesiologists from Sacre-Coeur Hospital ( University of Montreal affiliated hospital) are responsible of your general anesthesia or deep sedation. They are assisted by an inhalotherapist as requested in hospitals. Experienced registered nurses specialized in surgery take care of all the details related to your procedure.
Mrs Marjolaine De Repentigny, our patient coordinator, has been working with Dr Larocque since the last 20 years and will answer many of your questions before and after the surgery.
